We Believe:
1. THE SCRIPTURES – We believe that the Bible is the Word of God; that it was written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit so that their writings, in the original, were super-naturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be. They are the complete and final revelation of the will of God to man, and so are a supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. Matthew 5:18; I Peter 1: 23-25; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1: 19-21. The King James Translation of The Bible shall be the official instructor.
2. THE TRUE GOD – We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. II Corinthians 13:14; Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16;
Ephesians 1:6, 12, 14; Colossians 2:9.
a) God The Father – We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, boundless in love, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ, His son. Rom 1:20; 3:26; I Jn 4:8-9; Tit 1:2.
b) God the Son – We believe in Jesus Christ, God the Son, pre-existent with the Father, begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary: sinless in His nature and life, infallible in His teaching, making atonement for the sins of the world by His substitutionary death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, His perpetual intercession for His people and His glorious second advent according to promise. We believe that the promise of His second coming includes: first “The Blessed Hope” of the believer, namely, their personal, premillennial and pre-tribulation return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, to rapture His church according to I Thess. 4:13-19: second, His return later to earth with His saints to set up His millennial reign. John 1:14; Matthew 1:18; Matthew 1:21-23; Heb. 4:15; Acts 10:38; I Peter 1:19; Matthew 28:6; Hebrews .1:25; Acts 1:10-11; Revelation 1;11; Col. 1:16-17; John 1:3; Gal. 3:13; Titus 2:13-14; II Tim. 1:10; I Tun. 6:14-15; I John 5:20.
c) God the Holy Spirit – We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit. We believe that He came from God to convince and convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment: and to regenerate, sanctify, indwell, and comfort and empower those who believe in Jesus Christ. John 14:16-17; n Peter 1:21; John 16:8-9; Romans 8:11; Eph. 1:13- 14; I Cor. 12:13.
3. MAN – We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God. We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought and deed by choice. Gen. 3:1-24; Rom. 3:23-24; Rom. 5:12; Ps. 51:5; Eph. 2:1; Col. 2:13; Eph. 4:18; Col 1:21; Heb. 9:12; Col. 1:14.
4. SATAN – We believe in the reality and personality of Satan. Matthew 4:1-3; II Cor. 4:4; Rev. 20:10.
5. SALVATION – We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who by faith receive Him as their personal Saviour, are justified on the ground of His blood shed on Calvary and His resurrection from the dead and are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become the children of God.’ Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 4:4-5; I Cor. 15:3, 5, 6; Acts 17:30; Matthew 9:14; Acts 10:43; Acts 13:38-39; John 1:12; Col. 2:6; Rom. 5:9.
a) The Extent of Christ’s Atonement: His death was a substitution for the sins of the whole world (all people). 1Jn 2:2; Heb 2:9; 1Tim 2:4-6; Jn. 3:16:18; Is 53:6; 1Jn 2:2; 2 Cor 5:19 The Gospel is potentially for all, but it is effectual only to those who exercise personal saving faith and believe in Christ as Saviour. Jn 3:16, 18, 36; 1Jo 5:12; 1Jo 2:23; Jn 1:12, 5:24.
The redemptive dealing with God to men is unlimited. Although Christ’s atonement is only effectually to those who believe it is potentially for all of mankind. Jn 3:16
b) The Gospel: We believe that all the blessings of salvation are made possible only by the gospel; that there is no contradiction between the election and call of God and the choice of men; that it is the immediate duty of all to personally accept the gospel by a cordial, penitent, and obedient faith; and that nothing prevents the salvation of the sinner except his own depravity and willful rejection of the gospel, which rejection involves him in aggravated condemnation. (John 3:16-21; I Timothy 1:15; Hebrews 7:25; Revelation 22:17; Ezekiel 33:11; John 5:40; II Peter 3:9; I Timothy 2:3,4)
c) Works: Man cannot save himself by good works or religious piety, Man can only plead mercy and ask forgiveness through Christ, it is a gift from God. Tit 3:5; Rom 11:6; Rom. 6:23; Eph 2:8,9; Lk 18:10-14.

d) Repentance: Repentance must take place in man’s heart. Lu 13:3, 5; Ac 3:19; Ac 20:21. Repentance is a necessary change of mind about one’s sin, unrighteousness, standing before God and coming judgment in hell, without which no man will ever see their need of a Saviour. This change of mind will be evidenced by a change of actions and desires. If there is no change of actions and desires repentance (Salvation) has not taken place; II Co 5:17; Mt 3:8. God’s goodness will bring about a change in man’s heart; Ro 2:4.
6. THE CHURCH – We believe in the local church which is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible confession of faith, and associated for worship, word and fellowship. We believe that to these local churches was committed for perpetual observance, two ordinances: the baptism of believers by immersion and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that God has laid upon these churches the task of preaching the Gospel to every creature, and the edification of the individual members of the Body of Christ. Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42; I Cor. 11:2; Eph. 1:22-23; Eph. 4:11; Eph. 5:30; Acts 2:47; Col. 1:18.
